Icebreakers compromise a variety of exercises which will:
- Assist delegates in the ‘storming’ phase of team development.
- Help break down barriers by creating familiarity between delegates.
- Give delegates the confidence to participate.
- Offer insight into each others’ personalities and skills.
- Underline how good communication and repartee produces more effective results.
How it works
With 10 different exercises to choose from, Icebreakers gives the tutor the opportunity to select the most appropriate warm-up activity for any given group or situation. Some of the tasks require players to use general knowledge, whilst others tap in to their wider experience and personal views.
All the exercises will involve the group in discussing alternative viewpoints, and building understanding and consensus. This creates a level of understanding between delegates and helps to break down inhibitions.
